"When I took that investment group to Ghana we were posturing ourselves to generate income for ourselves and retrace the steps of our ancestors. But day one as I stood at night by the ocean with my feet in the sand, I heard the Spirit say to me “You’re not here to invest. You’re here to plant a seed”. What I learned later from the people as I engaged with them was the evil in the land - systematic economic oppression. What some make a month in Ghana Americans make in an hour or in days. Investors come from around the world to fleece Africa, take her resources, and even today the resource of choice is the labor of African people. Paying them poorly is an inhumane practice that results in generational poverty. The A.I.R. Project will address this wickedness in Africa head on by creating jobs, shaping futures, and empowering generations one job at a time."
